“Just Sold” and Just Extra: A-List Real Estate in July
July 2025 Edition
From stealth listings to custom golf courses, here’s who made July’s most outrageous real estate moves.
Summertime estate drama is in full swing: secret sales, mansion mark‑downs, athletes shopping like they already own the MVP title, and real estate divorces handled with more class than a Bravo reunion.
Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner’s Brentwood Pad Sells for $10.8M (Over Ask!)
Their former marital home closed at $10.8 million, $1.3M above the $9.5M asking price. That’s one way to close your divorce chapter—literally and luxuriously.
Paris Hilton Buys the Block, $63M Edition
Hilton and her husband snagged Mark Wahlberg’s former Beverly Hills mega-mansion for $63M, complete with a private golf course and skate park. It was the priciest U.S. home sale in June—because obvious flex.
Ellen & Portia List Their UK Country Estate for $30M
Their Cotswolds farmhouse—complete with wellness suite, party barn, and indoor pool—is on the market for £22.5M (~$30M). Yes, it’s as extra as it sounds.
Dak Prescott Starts From Scratch—Building a New Mansion in Texas
After knocking down his former house, Prescott is rebuilding a custom-designed mansion in Prosper, TX. Renovation drama or home makeover glow-up? Only agents know.
Ashton Jeanty Touring a $12.5M Vegas Mansion with 18‑Car Garage
His rookie NFL deal wasn’t wasted—Jeanty’s already eyeballing a Las Vegas mansion with enough parking for every swap meet on the Strip.
No new cricket-related purchases in July—turns out rural Mumbai markets might prefer Bollywood over estates bigger than stadiums.
Shaq Thompson Lists His Charlotte Mansion for $10.7M
Fresh off his Panthers tenure, Thompson put his gated 11,000‑sq‑ft Charlotte home on the market—for $10.7M. Want to play billiards or steam off stress? He’s ready to rent ya the blueprint.
Aaron Rodgers Drops Some Real Property → Par‑3 Golf Course Included
Rodgers quietly bought a mansion near Pittsburgh—complete with private golf course, horse stable, pool house—and yes, the hashtag rumored is #FOREVERHOME.
Deebo Samuel Relists California Home After Commanders Trade
He’s trying again—this time with a site that includes a 550‑pair shoe closet, heated marble floors, backyard gym, putting green and media room. A retail store couldn’t beat his wardrobe architecture.
That Title IX appeal by eight female athletes over NIL revenue sharing? Yep, it’s still unfolding—still about a $1.1B gap. Still being watched. Still not toilet talk.
July confirmed what we suspected:
Celebs sell quickly, quietly, and profitably.
Athletes buy big—some before their rookie jersey is even printed.
Refinancing is the new normal for billion-dollar back catalogs.
And yes, property drama remains prime pub fodder.
Smart? Maybe. Surprising? Sometimes. Still Instagrammable? Always.
